Missing Frames or Blank Sections in Shows.

When playing back a larger show from us, you may discover that some parts are missing and blank spots appear in the show. Assuming you have enough memory to load all the frames, this is most likely because LD2000's ini file has the number of frames set too low. By default LD2000 is set to allow only 16,000 frames. You need to edit LD2000's ini file to allow more frames to be loaded.*

Make sure LD2000 is completely shut down, including ending the session. Search for the file "LD2000.ini." In WindowsXP it is usually located in the C:\WINDOWS directory (assuming Windows is loaded on the C drive, your drive letter may be different). If you have system files and folders hidden you will have to show them. Do this by going to "Folder Options" under the Tools menu in any windows folder.

Click on the View tab and under Advanced Settings.

Click the radio button for "Show hidden files and folders" under "Hidden Files and Folders."

Now that you can see the hidden files, you can find your LD2000.ini file and edit it. You can edit it in any text editor, including notepad. Once you have the ini file open, look under the [General] section for the line "Number of frames=16000." Change 16000 to 64000 and save the file. Start Showtime and load the show. Everything should now be playing back correctly.
